Today is the start of a new week but the end of the year! I hope that 2018 was kind to you. It was a pretty good year at this end. Work has been good, family life has been good and I have a lot to be very thankful for this year. I feel very blessed to live such a fortunate life. I think we sometimes forget to appreciate the things we have right in front of us. Instead, we sometimes get too obsessed with what we haven’t got, constantly striving for ‘more.’ Well, 2018 was kind to me and I hope that 2019 will be equally kind. What about you?
As it is New Years Eve, I have this super glam and modern New Years Eve wedding for you. Tatiana and Colin were married at Santa Maria in California, so we are seeing out the year with their fabulous wedding celebrations. Hannah tells us more about the day

This couple put together a super lush, very romantic & modern wedding on NYE. Before the ceremony, the two decided on a First Look where they exchanged personal vows, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such strong emotions & so many happy tears. Their ceremony was small and intimate, they only invited their closest family & friends to witness their nuptials.
The NYE party kicked off that evening with a bottomless taco bar & custom cocktails. There was all the traditional wedding stuff, first dance, toasts, cutting of the cake, followed by a huge dance party and a lot of one-on-one time spent with their guests.

The mid century modern vibe of the Lake Marie Club really stood out to Tatiana & Colin, and they added fresh & simple floral pieces, along with gold geometric accents to give it a very lush and modern feel.
